Hi, I’m Veronica, a wife, recently widowed, a mother, grandmother, sister and friend. I was born near the welsh border in Britain, and lived most of my earlier years in Wales. I supported two daughters, and when they left home, I travelled to Ireland. I ended up staying four years, and there met my husband. We married two weeks before moving to France, his native country, in 2003. Here we have lived in L’Entre Deux Mers, about 50 kilometers inland from Bordeaux, in an old stone house, surrounded by farmland, vineyards and forests. There is much history and culture here. The people are content and kind. I am discovering daily, the language, culture, and nature of my new homeland, and it seems an obvious muse for my blog.
